Has there been discussion on Gerri at sandown and his chances , trying to locate some content but Havnt seen any. Is good to soft going to be an issue for him. If he takes to the ground odds against seems reasonable ?

I'd guess GDM if running well will go to the 3 miler and Paul has his eye on one of the losers in the Arkle for the Turners so won't ride JDB regardless.

I don't think so no, at the end of the day he is the proven g1 horse of the Mullins lot so Townend will try to grab another g1.

If he rated JDB and GDM was going for the NH Chase than yea, I'd expect something different. Townend has had the choice and chosen GDM here by the looks of it.

Interesting to see Willie send GDM over 2m5f. Looking more and more likely he'll be going BANC. I couldn't help but take 140's for the Turners just in case he's Black Hercules 2.0

Added El Fabiolo @ 20/1 to win tomorrow and at Cheltenham. If AI doesn't win then I think it will be this fella and I want to top up what is already a healthy position on him.

Townend gets the choice like. It's not as simple as saying Jacob rides for them imo. Blue Lord being an easy example later on the card. Has to be a negative for JDB. Although the bookies have him shorter of the pair for Sunday.
