  • El Fab Arkle then, which would suggest DD Arkle and AI Turners?

      Assuming they all turn up.

It's going to all depend on the Irish Arkle , IMO.

      • I'd assume all 3 turn up to the Arkle.

I don't think Willie will be too scared of Mighty Potter - GDM got close enough and isn't a proper 2 and a half miler. JDB showed enough in debut to suggest he could beat him and he also has a few others that could turn up to the Turners.

          • All very tight between Mullins Arkle horses. Jonbon quite a way clear in their books though. Forgotten horse Banbridge right up there. He could still be a player back over 2 and back at Cheltenham where he pinged around the course. Potter top of the pops...... maybe he could still go Arkle?

100% agree especially as the volume of posts has been manageable this year too.

Nah, I'm done with that race now.

                  • Didn't Daryl Jacob say last night that his contract means he rides all Munir and Souede's UK horses, not the Irish ones necessarily? But that then he picks up some good rides in Ireland. If that's the case then it isn't set in stone that he rides horses like El Fabiolo and James Du Berlais? If say Paul is set on El Fabiolo then would Paul get the ride as Daryl not contracted to ride the Irish horses? Might have been wrong how I understood it like....

Paul gets the pick of Willies horses
If he doesn't go for lets say El Fab or James then Daryl gets offered the ride

That's correct and what happened with Footpad from memory.

If Paul thinks a double green horse is the best one in that race, he gets to pick them and the spare rides will be picked up by Danny etc.

Unfortunately facing a horse he already beat first time out this season will likely tell us nothing, even more so because that one will probably not be wanting to get too close either!

                            • Another schooling session at 1/5 for him

                              Will teach us absolutely zilch

                              • At least he is kept at 2m. Blow some more cobwebs away before the DRF.
