Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

Biggest odds anywhere, with NRNB is a no brainer.

I don't know why L'Homme Presse got mentioned but we'll let that slide
Was also ignored mostly after winning dipper.
    was available at decent prices

    • Ah ok gotcha.

I had no interest in Monmiral really so I won't get carried away but it's a rare case of a horse being a fair price after winning a good trial race instead of having to guess beforehand

      • Think today might have helped sort the Mullins bingo....least for now

        My thoughts are....

        NHC - GDM / Ramillies

Browns - GDM / Ramillies, Minella Cocooner, Classic Getaway

Turners - James Du Berlais, Saint Roi

Arkle - Dysart Dynamo, El Fabiolo, Appreciate It

Possible he runs all 2m at DRF and then moves one to Turners, but he did that last year and did not move any i think

          • If Might Potter hands Mullins horses their arse at Dublin.
            What then ?
Allegorie de Vassy for turners ?
And run four mares in the mares chase (he has got options)

            • I doubt he would throw ADV in against the boys on the big stage :/ He just wants festival winners now doesn't he :/? So likely to go for the race that the horse has the easiest chance of winning, and going the turners route wouldn't be anywhere near as easy as what the Mares Chase would be.

He still has cocooner and Appreciate It (imo) that could well be up to the task, but I suppose we won't know until the Flogas.

I'm hoping Potter won't see which way JDB goes there

He also likes to run novices against novices though.
I think Allegorie might run at Thurles next at end of the month in a grade 2 against novice mares.
But he did specifically refer to taking on boys in his stable tours.

If he looks super strong in the mares chase then there is a chance ADV goes against the boys if things pan out a certain way.
But it's 90% (love a percentage guess from thin air) she goes mares chase.
                I get that.

                • but... Ricci wants winners...
he'll opt for the easier route IMO just to get back into winning at the fez

I think Daryl jacobs done a good job riding the greens for mullins, which has me thinking hes going to ride all of them at cheltenham. I can see Appreciate It heading to the turners also

                    Arkle - Dysart(Townend), El Fabiolo(jacobs)
                    Turners - Appreciate It(Townend), JDB(jacobs)

This is not against you opatcho.
But this mantra of run in the race that's easiest to win is probably now become my biggest annoyance on this forum (Bollinger included)

It's Mr Glib, at his most Glibbest, living on Glib street in Glib town, with a dog called Glib.

(and your ricci example don't stack up either as there are examples of the opposite being true)

The jockeys are key to this I agree.
This configuration would suit most people, and might become clearer if Appreciate It is the one to miss Dublin and run elsewhere.
Because you can also place Walsh on Saint roi, & Coleman obviously on Jonbon.

IF they make the festival there are 4 horses that I think have fairly definitive targets based on what we know now:

NHC - Ramillies (not quick enough for the BANC, its NHC or bust)
Browns - Classic Getaway (his breeding, run style, how he's been campaigned all screams stayer)
                          Turners - N/A
Arkle - Dysart Dynamo, Saint Roi (both just 2m speedsters, wouldn't get home over further, its boom or bust over 2m)

                          The 'floaters' are then:

                          NHC - GDM
                          Browns - GDM, JDB, MC
Turners - JDB, MC, AI, EF
                          Arkle - AI, EF

                          My take on it:

NHC - They have already decided GDM is their NHC horse. Ramillies may or may not go, but GDM comes here.
Browns - Now Minella Cocooner has settled over fences, I am convinced his future is over 3m, despite Willie saying Turners (based on keenness).
Turners - EF only comes here if he's beaten over 2m and/or his jumping doesn't improve. JDB comes here if EF cuts the mustard over 2m or goes up if he doesnt.
Arkle - The only way AI doesn't join DD and SR here is if he loses over 2m at the hands of EF. If so, EF goes here, AI goes up, JDB goes Turners.

Turns out I fucking love bingo.

                          I want it to end

                            Difference of opinion.. fair enough
The way I actually see this is.... there's a Mares Novice chase... run it in the Mares Novice Chase. Why over complicate it

                              It's not a Novice Chase.
