True but there have been plenty more natural jumpers on debut though. It would be silly not to aim high with him after using up his novice status so late.

Robcour have a couple of good staying chasers now with GMG and Gerri colombe, be interesting to see how they split them(or if they split them)

My memory isn't the best, but I'm sure Rob Acheson mentioned on that podcast that they'd have no problems running their horses against each other in the big races. He also seemed unsure of the NHC for Gerri Colombe and gave GMG in the BANC as his best AP bet, so you'd have to think there's a decent chance they take each other on. Of course a lot can change between now and then and also since that podcast was recorded, so probably sensible to take it all with a pinch of salt.

I think if the ground is ok then they’d run them both in the right race, even if they clash.

…..interesting that GMG is as low as 10-1 NHC with PP. He’s 20-1 with BV.

14 TWAR with Hills looks decent.

Honestly, yes, but I don't think there would be a lot in it and I think both would benefit from a step up in trip.

Interesting, I think Boothill has been a solid improver this year and now is sort of stuck between a decent 150 horse but not G1 novice material. His Novice win vs EDG on 27th day makes fascinating comparison. They've gone a bit quick in EDG race early on but been well beat by the front two in the Wayward.
