I think you need to do an evaluation for his Turners and BANC horses because if you say only one goes the Arkle he’s going to have like 4/5 in both the other races
Exclusively looking at the Arkle now I’m saying there’s 4 in contention before Christmas for willie, on the day it could easily be one as has been 9 out of the last 10 years. Add in a set back or 2 or a flop (dysart?) your left with 1 or 2 lining up on the day
Examples given where he nearly had another runner I get but again missed the race, they don’t all turn up and he already has a select set.

Don't want to derail the Mullins chat but... Anyone any ideas what's going on with Saint Felicien? Seen him pop up with a few entries recently but been taken them out of them all now.
SirGerhard: N/A Injured, not in the picture right now. Connections say chasing could happen, appreciate it pathway does spring to my mind still..
100% agree on this front. Mullins hates wasting a novice season, I've all but written off any bets for him for the Turners (or any other novice chase for that matter). I think the only chance of him turning up would be if he gets a novice chase in January, then onto Cheltenham and Punchestown. But if he's injured now, that seems like a stretch.
I'd personally be shocked if there's less than 2 Arkle runners (injuries aside), being at least one of El Fabiolo/Appreciate It with a second string which I'm fairly sure will be Saint Roi. One of the big guns may step up if he doesn't have a clear Turners candidate (I'm hoping Kilcruit fills that role) and then Dysart is the wildcard. I do struggle to see him running 4, but I think 3 is definitely on the cards.

Minor problems but hopefully out mid January for chase debut
Brides Hill improved 17 pounds from her 2nd chase run. Think they've just plucked it out of thin air.
They seem to have based her rating around her best hurdles form (around 3lbs lower), whereas the MC/Getaway race was based around the 4ths maiden hurdle win (after which the horse won a handicap achieving a 10lb higher rpr). For what it's worth, I think it's more likely jwm ran to form and achieved around 140 compared to 154. That would put brides on around about her first chase performance as a horse who is obviously looking for a mark
I think it was Sax who mentioned on another thread but also believe it's worth waiting for entries for the likes of Minella Cocooner and Classic Getaway before getting involved in the spring.
We'll be seeing some shaking up of the markets anyway after Christmas so no immediate rush to be backing anything not entered for the foreseeable future.
Racing Post report on SG looks more down beat than Racing TV, gone from small set back to probably won't run at the festival. Have no interest in the horse mind you but that looks like his chasing campaign done this season.
I'm going to give my predictions for the Mullins horses and I'll come back in couple months and see how wrong I was lol.
