      • Rare Edition isn't winning a supreme then. Rubbish. Next.

        • After that, have they left a bit more on Spanish Harlem to work on or is he not as good as people first thought. No idea.

          • What a wholly unsatisfactory 15 minutes. You'd want more than that from Spanish Harlem if he's to win a Pipe. Didn't seem to be holding anything back. Rare Edition ... maybe just a good horse rather than being a real challenger come March.

If I could offer any encouragement it would be that if they did end up at the festival they would both encounter entirely different types of races

                Yes......much harder !

                Both just not good enough.

SH is just very one paced. Needs a proper test. He'll probably just go to the Albert now as an extra dart for Willie. The extra distance might tweek some improvement.

                • We'veallbeencaught let the form of Hermes Allen down a little in Ireland recently, but his Challow form is starting to look a lot better.
And definitely makes the mare who came second to him very interesting. She may want further as she is entered in the ballymore and bartlett I suppose but I'll be watching for her next entry.

You can't say that Q.......the Hermes Allen haters will be after your blood

True though, 4th ,5th and 6th beaten miles have come out and won next time.

When Horses win with loads in hand, I don’t worry too much about form being franked, but nice to see all the same

                      • I know he was shit today, but rare editions connections not ruling out cheltenham.
STD didn't get the same feel today as kempton.
Refers to menorah getting beat over 2m3f then winning a supreme.
I thought i was an optimist

Fergal O’Brien praised his team at home before admitting he was ‘over the moon’ with the victory of Marble Sands, who took his form to new levels in the M1 Agency Sidney Banks Memorial Novices’ Hurdle at Huntingdon.

                        • Anyone know if Diverge has been put up somewhere? Blue everywhere. Seems an odd one. Ran well enough in beating nothing on his second start. But beaten into 6th by Parmenion, High Definition, Jetara etc. of debut.

Imagine he will be a likeable horse for the preview shows because of the Sire

Ran very fast in the last half of the race and jumped very well. Improved a lot from his first run. I think he has a good chance, backed him at 33.

                              • Diverge seems an awful price now to me. Not many supreme winners go in on the back of a win in a maiden hurdle imo. Can't recall the last to do so but there's probably one?

Be surprised if there's two though!

The Supreme isn't a race that often throws up shocks is it. Labaik the one I remember but he came with a big reputation and winning graded form, but had refused to race a few times since.
