In this year of bookmakers stranglehold on prices, any Willie winner that wins impressively, is being shortened considerably never mind being priced as if the race is tomorrow.
I'd be very wary also of some Twitter posters bigging up a lot of these wins. Sounds to me like a lot of bookmakers using social media to draw punters in.
Gordon's giving Willie a free pass at the moment, a quiet time for his horses so he can target the DRF, Cheltenham, Fairyhouse, Aintree and Punchestown.

I'm still wary of Gordon's lot, got burnt last year thinking he was saving a few for the Fez, came out with very little
I think Gordon slotted in nicely around early December, when Mullin's was barely out, and GE had managed to get a run into his. Won a shed load in that 1 weekend in December.
Its now over to Mullin's, a lot of his horses are coming into their second runs of the season and I expect them to improve noticeably. With questions over Henry's form and stable (in terms of quality), and GE having a quieter spell, the DRF is going to be the Mullins show... again

Why questions over Henry's form? Because APT and Arctic Bresil didn't run well in England? Operating at the same strike rate in both hurdles and chases as the last 5 years. Over the last 15 days he has had 2 firsts, 2 seconds and 2 thirds out of 15 runners. Spirit of Legend going well when he got brought down as well.
Shantreusse ran poorly at 9/4 but no problems with the other fancied ones though.
Will he have horses to beat Mullins at the DRF - I doubt it as his best ones generally don't go to the DRF.

DenmanSacre don't forget Envoi Allen. The way Henry's horses have ran in England this season makes me think they travelled over with my mother in law.

I thought Embassy Gardens was OK. I didn't like some of his hurdling, and he obviously beat zilch (a bit like a lot of these Irish maidens), so it's really hard to get a take on the form. The horse in second was only rated 109 and finished nearly 28 lengths behind in his previous race against a horse rated 103, so it's nigh on impossible to gauge any level of overall ability for EG.
I certainly won't be backing him for the Albert Bartlett at his ridiculous odds now though.

Watched both of Embassy Gardens previous Hurdle races back last night and focussed on him and specifically his jumping. Both races against better opposition were riddled with errors. Yesterday was a little better but he wasn't under any sort of pressure. If he makes the same mistakes at Cheltenham then he'll have no chance.

Not sure if he can become a player for the Bally or AB?I can see TCB beating Spanish Harlem, myself.

Evidence is there to suggest a team decision is reached to run the horse in the most suitable race.

Escaria Ten in 2020 - Heskin still had a ride in the Bartlett, albeit a rubbish one, on Kiltealy Briggs
I A Connect last season - Heskin still had a ride in the Bartlett, again, a rubbish one, on Where It All Began
Heskin has still had rides in the Bartlett, so maybe they've got something crap lined up for him again this season and TCB can go for the Pipe, but I'm not convinced, myself.

But i'd still say elliott will decide where TCB goes, whether heskin has a ride or not in the AB, but i could be wrong.
