They seem set on the Betfair Hurdle off 149 so clearly think the UK mark is winnable, and whatever happens at Newbury the handicapper isn't dropping him.

I find it hard to understand why there aren't conversations between the two handicappers.
archie said a while back there would be greater discussion between the two but (from memory) this would only be during the Summer and would only be for the top 20/50 rated horses.
If he wins the Betfair hurdle his UK mark will be min 155 and very possibly near 160...

Yep you’d think you’d need at least 7 pounds in hand to win a Betfair....I know he got bogged down over further lto but pikar for example must have pounds in hand.so bordering 160 feels right if he wins.

Getting matched at 40s on Betfair for Supreme. And 5s for Ballymore.

Someone's fairly convinced on target. And owner was at the yard yesterday, as has been posted....

While I was at the yard I spoke to Paul Townend who had just won the Sky Bet Moscow Flyer on Impaire Et Passe at Punchestown the day before.

He was very complimentary about him, he said he got a nice lead into the race and quickened well.

All options are open for him but we know he stays well and the Ballymore looks a more favourable spot for him at this stage.
