I’m another sweet on Arctic Bresil for the Tolworth & therefore expect him to become shorter than current 25s for the supreme. Surprised it’s not fav for Saturday.

De Bromhead's race-planner Robbie Power, who won the Tolworth in 2020 on the Colin Tizzard-trained Fiddlerontheroof, is keen on the chances of an away win.

"He won impressively in Cork the last time," he said. "I think this looks like a nice opportunity for him. He'll be getting the soft ground and Sandown is a lovely stiff two miles. It's a great track. He shows plenty of pace, two miles looks best for him."

      Timeform Ratings

      Arctic Bresil 157P

      Authorised Speed 147p

The Timeform ratings are adjusted each race from the master rating but that does seem high.

The Timeform verdict on SportingLife is for Tahmuras to win and you would think that if AB was clear on ratings, he would be their pick for the winner.

            • Win today (Tolworth) and Festival bets are out with Hills, Arctic Bresil is 40/1 for the Supreme. 44/1 with the boost, looks like they've stopped doing the double odds boost.

Good to see Herpes above Gaelic Warrior in that list. At least Timeform got it right.

It was 50s yesterday and even early this morning. I think they've given them all a cut as Authorised Speed was also 50s yesterday and now it's 40s all round

Third with Sizing John off the top of my head. To be fair though, it’s only in recent seasons that he’s starting to get the sort of ammunition to compete in 2 mile hurdles. He pretty much just had stayers and chasers previously.

                        • Lastroboy halved in price with B365 for Tolworth 12's from 25's and into 17/2 with Hills !!

Beat Tahmuras into 2nd on Bumper debut.

66/1 Supreme and 40/1 Ballymore for anyone interested.

He's 7/2 with Hills to win just the Tolworth. So you're looking at something like 8s or below for the Supreme afterwards. He'd need to be winning relatively well I'd have thought to go much shorter than that. Ignoring the boost...

50s was probably alright. Might try and play him in a lengths bet on Saturday instead. That Tolworth market hasn't gone the way I expected

Captain Guinness would definitely have been placed if he hadn't been wiped out by the Psycho horse.

Only 3 horses not declared from entries - Three Card Brag, Gaelic Warrior and Spanish Harlem. 9 runners
