Tough question. 148 maybe. Who knows. BMG was given 154 for beating 147 rated Star Gate 10L. I just don't think the form is worth much, but then I do always say the form matters less when wins are that easy, so perhaps I'm being unfair.

Right now I have a feeling you are, as he’s done nowt wrong, jumped and traveled well on different ground conditions and done it easily. Very hard to gauge his ceiling, and I would think difficult to get an accurate rating.

I am probably being a little unfair as I don't particularly like Paul Nicholls runners at Cheltenham.

Hermes Allen could very well be the real deal and if he is, I am happy being wrong based on the facts we have now,

QDP is a big whopper of a horse. I’ve got some bits on him this season but don’t think I’ll be excited until next year and fences. Those hurdles were an inconvenience to him.

I remember when they purchased him they said he was more like a Pointer than a typical French type. They weren’t wrong and he’s probably grown a fair bit since.

I don't think they will, and he would have no chance I agree.
They were miles clear of the third and the second could easily be decent.

They compare him with Imperial Commander who went Ballymore then up to 3m at Aintree so possibly the same race plan.

Was pleased with him. Said he was idle but responded eventually. When asked said he thought he would’ve won further.
