Jonbon had won a grade 2 comfortably from a proven low 140s horse in Colonel Mustard, a grade 2 bumper winner, a comfortable winner of the same race Luccia won this year and another grade 2 novice hurdle winner. I'm not Jonbon's biggest fan but that Kennel Gate form is leagues above anything Luccia or Rare Edition have done this year.

Sir Gerhard won his maiden very very easily with an RPR of 135 - better than FV put up on debut and he was only rated 3 pounds lower than FV as a bumper horse.

There are still horses that could be anything but the way Willie is talking about FV, they don't think they have one that can beat him so some may want to discount his other ones in this division.

I actually really like Arctic Bresil and hopefully he shows he's a good one in the Moscow Flyer. It may be in a months time that we have seen Arctic Bresil, Impaire et Passe, Quais de Paris, Jet Powered, Authorized Speed etc come out and put out bigger performances and that turns this from a potentially good division to a division with more substance.

At this time though, they aren't as good as last year's 2m division which looked top class.

This year's class does however look collectively better than the 2021, 2019, 2018 and 2017 divisions so I wouldn't particularly say it's weak. 2022 was a good division for me and they could end up as good as the 2020 division with Shishkin etc.
It appears that you agree then that the comment about the 2 mile division being weak this year isn't really a valid one. I'm not saying they're better than last years either, but we also seem to agree that last years were a high standard. I'd like to clarify aswell that I am just using gaelic warrior as a comparison to dysart dynamo and agree with your comments about him.
I'd also agree with your comments about Jonbon, but I would also say I did say LOOK in my original reply to you. I'd also like to add about Rare edition, my own time analysis for his closing sectionals at kempton are fast, not too far off constitution hill, could be a big player from a small yard.
I'd also say I am not a huge fan of facile vega, he hasn't got me excited like authorised speed(ballymore imo) or rare edition have.

I need to catch up with the Rare Edition race so I'll give it a watch later. Would be good for a smaller yard to have a player at Cheltenham

He’s one I’ve been keen on all year. Such a good horse. Ran in arguably my favouritePTP of last year too (until yesterday anyway) second to Kalinisi Star and beating Path D’Oroux.

RPR of 144 (initially 139, then 142 lol) so he’s one to keep an eye on for a handicap if they can get one more run into him (and can hide him).

Handicap? For a yard like charlie longsdon, he doesn't get too many like him, Do you not think they'll aim higher?

I do. I certainly hope so anyway. But if he got an OR of 144, a handicap is winnable and that might affect thinking. That certainly looked better than a 144 to my eye. Rubaud is a lovely horse and ran his race and was smoked.

Ah ok, The market support for Rubaud on monday might also suggest he is well thought of, couple that with the way cobden rode him. I think he rare edition could be a bit special.

The trainer said he thought he could be an Aintree horse after the race...no mention of Cheltenham just an FYI for all in case people didn’t catch the post race interview.

I've been burned by trainers talking down their horse's chances of turning up before. I should really keep a list of horses like that, then back once NRNB kicks in. Brazil winning the Boodles last year was a particularly sore one as I think I cashed out following trainer comments about not going to Cheltenham.

You may be right but it’s still fair that people have the information so that they can make their own decision

so to your point regards trainer comments, I never mentioned cheltenham for rare edition, i did say could be a big player from a small yard. Yes i did mean the supreme, no i wasn't suggesting people should back him, or that his trainer had said he was nailed on for the supreme.
I understand you may be trying to help me with information i may have missed, and thank you for that, next time just tag me rather than quoting my post.
I did see the interview, and i have still backed him for the supreme, that's the risk i take with ante-post betting.

Yes I was trying to help you but ALSO everybody else ....last time when we were talking about Authorised Speed you made the point that you made the comments on your own diary ...thus time it was in a non members thread and so obviously I cannot tag everyone.

But last time i mis-quoted gary moore and you were quite right to pull me up on it. I was clearly highlighting a good novice hurdle performance. Quoting my post leads me to believe you are pulling me up again, although this time i never mentioned anything from the trainer. If you just wanted everyone to know you could've just posted with no quoting. You was trying to dig me out again, weren't you Rooster?
