He will have to be bloody good then.
Mind you, the thought of another horse as good as CH around at the same time is rather exciting.

I think we need it to be honest. As much as I love to see superstars, it’s always dampened somewhat when they easily beat small fields with no real competition. I know that’s racing but it really doesn’t get my justices flowing in comparison to when there are a few horses that could all beat each other on a given day. Give me an era with Hardy Eustace, Brave Inca, Macs Joy and Harchibald any day of the week.

I knew what you mean, I grew up watching Night Nurse, Birds Nest, Monksfield and Sea Pigeon doing battle.Great memories, and another golden era would be most welcome

What a time, you can add lanzerote, comedy of errors, dramatist beacon light and many more. Constitution could be the one to surpass night nurse tho..

          • Hard to know what to think of that with the missed hurdles and High Definition jumping markedly right. His class on the flat told in the end.

            • Running right through the line though, he would need to go up in trip to be of interest at the fest imo.

He would need Cheltenham to switch which way they run to be of interest at the festival

I’m not sure I’ll be following anything from that race any further. Parmenion would not have troubled the horses ahead even if they did have to jump the last as he was not very efficient himself. Bubble burst I’d say.

A win but at the hurdles they did jump I thought he was slow. But winnings winning on debut and after such a long lay off

That ride from jj slevin was different gravy

High definition can't jump and has no turn of foot

But he committed for home miles out and just galloped them into submission

Plenty to improve on. Struggled early doors and perhaps wasn’t positioned too well by Townend. Doctor Bravo a useful yardstick. Perfectly reasonable for such time off the track.

You'd expect him to improve from that and the right horse finished behind. What did they say after the race?
