Albert was never in doubt was it. Looked better as the race went on. Ran through the line great. Ground looked proper slow too.
With him out of the Ballymore it makes the race even easier for the beast. Facile Ballymore/Mike Albert is the trendy related double. Pays a nice pot too.
Il Est Francais just gone and bolted up in a G3 hurdle in France by about 10L beating Kyrov and Hawai Du Berlais... IEF was beaten by Irish Point in a AQPS Grade 1 last November
Thought that was a nice performance from Magical Zoe. She was given a nice write up in JTF too. Probably should've backed her today!
She'll carry a penalty now if turning up in the mares novice in march as Impervious carried one after winning same race last year. MZ is very inexperienced though so probably a lot of improvement to come

And Irish Point was beat on his second start by Inneston on his first start, now with Gary Moore. Feel like we should be ploughing into the Gary Moore horse

Getting plenty of weight though
Everyone aboard the irish point bus!!
FWIW - He hasn't taken up his declaration at Cork tomorrow, maybe Gordon doesn't want to start him out on heavy ground :/

The penalty issue is a good point made. Last season, Love Envoi carried a penalty and finished 1st but the next 4 home were penalty free.

Was a strange one today, I didn't know of any connection A P Heskin has with De Bromhead so bit of an unusual jockey booking that - not that I picked up on it until after he nutted Townend on the line

Had to research it myself, but looks like the owner Paddy Bryceland has a close connection with the McNeil family, hence the A Heskin booking

Patrick Bryceland (Magical Zoe's owner) as a few horses shared with the McNeil family who Heskin is the retained jockey for so I presume he is retained jockey for Patrick as well

He was well weighted getting 4 pounds off the filly but nice performance. I'd assume he will go to the grade 1 in 3 weeks time.
