Account limit resets tomorrow and been waiting to add this one…
    Grangeclare West goes there perhaps?

      Been keeping count.
And that’s the 79th time you’ve referred to Facile Vega ending up in the ballymore.
Which is at least 78x too many.

      FYI
the more times you type about it makes no difference whatsoever.
Although it does make me sigh !
So probably worth persisting with I reckon

It's the only reason I do it Q. Need to keep you on your toes. I have no idea where he'll end up . Great to see him declared again. Hopefully he'll run this time. I've been looking forward to seeing him run more than Constitution Hill.

Really? Just on the basis of their run last time? SC wasnt fit and expectations were very low for him that day. Also TCB is much more bred for the job of a 2 miler. SC is bred for 3m. Id have my house on SC beating him over 3m if they meet again this season.

Based on both of their runs this season.

Not sure he's bred to be a 2 miler - his dams progeny are strong stayers and Jet Away is a fairly new sire but the consensus is that they aren't short of speed but will stay well. TCB is also dying for a step up in trip.

TCB was staying on strongly against Imagine and Hercule du Seuil last time in what turned into a sprint. We've got members loving Spanish Harlem for the Martin Pipe and he couldn't get as close to Imagine in another race that turned into a sprint.

Did SC actually improve to win his maiden - the 2nd was beat further by Absolute Notions and the 3rd was beat further by Monbeg Park. Time was pretty poor and his closing sectionals don't stand out on the day.

His bumper form wasn't all that. FV beat him easily both times and he was beat by Music Drive.

After 4 bumpers his RPR was 119 compared to TCB with a 116 after one run.

Over any trip up to 3m I'd have Three Card Brag to handily beat Sandor Clegane. It seems people like him as he's trained by Paul Nolan and they've got him at good odds for the AB. For me, I couldn't have him near the class required to win the AB based on racecourse evidence.

I'd also argue the point about SC expectations in his race against TCB. He went off at 15/8 - morning price was 6/4 but opening ring price was 2/1. Steady enough on his odds.

            • A fair bit of blue for Parmenion today for the Supreme, has something been said?

Chicken and Egg, but someone placed ?100 on at ~50/1 on the exchange. Maybe they also placed with online bookies.

I meant TCB was more bred for 2m than SC... everything about SC screams stayer to me... I actually think its quite impressive what he's managed to achieve at 2m up to now, considering. Personally I don't think either will prove quite up to the highest level, certainly against the WPM battalion anyway.

Was just surprised you were so adamant about TCB beating SC should they meet again tbh. Regardless of the betting, the yard didn't fancy him one bit.

                    • It's a bit wanky wank obvious.

But Immortal is Henderson's chosen novice for one of his favourite races in the first at sandown on Saturday.

He may even like the race more now that CH won it last season.
Probably worth a punt that he can beat authorised speed on debut getting 5lb's.
@ 50-1 for the supreme is tempting.

100%. I referenced that being one of his favourite races for his novices. Another would be the race at Kempton on Boxing Day too.

I was thinking the same Q.

Unibet also go 50's though, which kinda puts me off a little. They are 4/1 about Jet Powered though. Smoke screen?

When you consider CH was 40-1 and no one even mentioned him on here. (i know one or 2 did back him, but failed to mention it prior from memory)

You kind of have to back this one as how stupid would you feel if he bolted up, especially if building a book.

odds are he won't, cos he's 50-1 though.

Yeah, the big difference for me is that Constitution Hill had the p2p run, was noted by a select few on social media, as well, I've heard even less regarding Immortal, he's a store we know nothing about.

Agree about looking a little stupid if he bolted up though. I've just got to get him onside

                              • Authorised Speed looked good last time over a longer trip. I'd be impressed if Immortal could beat him comfortably on Saturday.
