Lol no idea but he's more elusive than the scarlet pimpernel and I've backed him in some capacity for the past two years running.....

Now been pushed up 6 pounds to 129.

They may have a bug in their chase ratings though. Paint the Dream currently showing a RPR of 167 for his win on the same card. Seemingly being given 11 pounds extra for ease of win based on the rating of the 2nd. 167 would put him firmly in grade 1 company yet we know he isn't near that class. The ones in behind him haven't been rated correctly based on a pound per length etc.

      • Authorised speed entered for 2m novice hurdle at sandown saturday. I like this route. win saturday, back for the tolworth in january, then win the ballymore in march, just like yorkhill did in 2016.

He’ll likely be up against one of Hendo’s good ones as he likes to target that race every year.

Indeed. He doesn't have an entry which surprises me. Seems as though Naas will be his next port of call.

The entries for the 3m novice on the 27/12/22 haven't been released yet as it is a Grade 2, he may be entered in that

Reminds me a little of Samcro's start in his novice chase season.
Bold. I wasn't overly impressed with him on debut and I certainly wasn't impressed yesterday. People will say 'it was too bad to be true' but he's never posted an RPR higher than 136 and I think he wants much further being by Mahler.

Hendo has three entered. Immortal looks better on paper than the other two - Rathmacknee finished 10/19 at the November Cheltenham meeting in the novice hurdle, Treyarnon Bay won a Southwell bumper in May. Anyone got any views/insights?

                    Immortal
4g Montmartre - Cagnes Sur Mer
                    West Coast Haulage Limited
                    Unraced
A spring arrival, he's a strong youngster and produced some eyecatching work, but the ground was too quick to run so we didn't push him. He's filled out considerably and I anticipate he'll start over hurdles, but he'll be a breathtaking chaser one day

                    Rathmacknee
                    6g Jet Away - Let's Park
                    Million In Mind Partnership
                    332-1
                    RPR 125h OR 124h
He came in late last season and spreadeagled a Fakenham field on his final run in May after a soft palate operation. He was going to the sales but wasn't making much, so was bought back. We've schooled him over fences but he's still a novice over hurdles, so I expect he'll have a busy campaign, which could include part one over hurdles and then part two over fences

                    Treyarnon Bay
                    4f Mastercraftsman - Dynalosca
                    Highclere Thoroughbred Racing
                    2-1
                    RPR 96b
Blessed with a touch of class, she won on her first start for us at Southwell. Her schooling has been splendid and she appears to have plenty of pace. She may prefer some cut in the ground

Won't believe it until I see the horse standing with a copy of that day's Racing Post

                          • Can't see any love on here for Hunters Yarn? He's one I took from last season after winning a couple . Willie said after his last win that he'd be a 2 miler this season. Runs tomorrow over the minimum and I think he's only got entries over 2 miles at Xmas.

Couple of entries at Thurles Thursday and one at Xmas all over the minimum.

Yeah, more wrong than not but you have to be bold and stick to your opinions sometimes as it seems to works for me. If that was bold, you'll probably think I'm crazy for topping up on Journey With Me after his fall!
