There hasn’t been a single one that I’ve seen on there yet

….I’ve seen a few, perhaps with PP. Daft as it sounds I will start a new thread and post if I see any offers. I’d be looking to get the likes of Spanish Harlem into my book, Mullins suggesting he’s a real staying chaser in the making & starting him off in the same hurdle as GDC.

Jonbon Arkle/Champion Chase 16-1 with PP.

Ah yes, but then would you back him for the Turners or the RSA next year?!

…..if cash out option, then maybe both. I took 40-1 Mighty Potter Arkle and Turners based on Elliott saying he’d be a better chaser in his stable tour. Last season ahead of the festival & GDC was looking a bit special, yet was still 20-1 in a place for the Gold Cup, I know a few jumped on that.

                • What have I missed for Facile Vega to now be 6/4 for the Supreme and 5/1 for ballymore?
I'm going to stick him in ballymore multiples, his mother won over 2m4f, he won the bumper and 5/1 is an attractive multiples price.

With eggs currently being rationed in the UK I'm willing to end up with egg on my face if he hacks up in the Supreme in March.

Does that affect the special bets updates he provides in here ?

                    • Just noticed Il Etait Temps is running at 15:40 today. Still a novice, could be a dark horse if he settles.

I see what you did there..

just to confirm, if Facile Vega wins the Supreme, he is not welcome on my face.

100% was thrown in deep end last year which is telling, looks well experienced for a novice this year & has that Chelt form, see racing post has his RPR of 150 on todays card. Ran to 130, 136, 140 in 3 Grade 1 hurdles last year. Willie said in ST he looks sharp enough for 2m.

100% if he shows anything promising today the 25s for him will be gone gone.

I'll be surprised if he takes high rank in the novice hurdle division for Willie tbh.

Being beat by Vauban, Pied Piper & Fil D'Or, doesn't scream potential Supreme horse to me. For him to have any potential to improve he'd have to be going down a different route, i.e. like Gaelic Warrior is likely to do, going up in trip, but I'm not convinced Il Etait Temps settles well enough to do that. On RPR's and visual performances he actually regressed last season from his debut run. I'd imagine he'll make up in to a nice handicapper in time though, and potentially a lower graded winner.

I don't remember him being too big, but he looks to be bred for a fence too.
