And the last 1.5F of a 2M 6.5F race was his best part.

Easy stay 3M this season, and like his Mum (Irish National 3rd and 4th) he's a 3M+ Staying Chaser all day.

    • Albert was never in doubt was it. Looked better as the race went on. Ran through the line great. Ground looked proper slow too.
With him out of the Ballymore it makes the race even easier for the beast. Facile Ballymore/Mike Albert is the trendy related double. Pays a nice pot too.

      • Little bit disappointed with the result there I thought The Model Kingdom was a potential good thing, seemed to travel nicely but didn't pick up.

The winner could be a good thing, I'll be keeping track of her through the season.

        • Thought that was a nice performance from Magical Zoe. She was given a nice write up in JTF too. Probably should've backed her today!

          • Il Est Francais just gone and bolted up in a G3 hurdle in France by about 10L beating Kyrov and Hawai Du Berlais... IEF was beaten by Irish Point in a AQPS Grade 1 last November

She'll carry a penalty now if turning up in the mares novice in march as Impervious carried one after winning same race last year. MZ is very inexperienced though so probably a lot of improvement to come

And Irish Point was beat on his second start by Inneston on his first start, now with Gary Moore. Feel like we should be ploughing into the Gary Moore horse

Very nice for Irish Point indeed.

                    Getting plenty of weight though

Everyone aboard the irish point bus!!

FWIW - He hasn't taken up his declaration at Cork tomorrow, maybe Gordon doesn't want to start him out on heavy ground :/

The penalty issue is a good point made. Last season, Love Envoi carried a penalty and finished 1st but the next 4 home were penalty free.

Was a strange one today, I didn't know of any connection A P Heskin has with De Bromhead so bit of an unusual jockey booking that - not that I picked up on it until after he nutted Townend on the line

Had to research it myself, but looks like the owner Paddy Bryceland has a close connection with the McNeil family, hence the A Heskin booking

Patrick Bryceland (Magical Zoe's owner) as a few horses shared with the McNeil family who Heskin is the retained jockey for so I presume he is retained jockey for Patrick as well

Runs for Gordon Elliott and Jack Kennedy in Gigginstown Studs colours on Sunday.
Likely to be fav in a 3M Listed Novice Hurdle.

After his debut win over 2M4F connections said he's a 3M staying Novice.

If he won on Sunday at Cork then he'd definitely be an Albert Bartlett market-mover.

                              Hes generally 33/1.

                              Bet365 havent quoted yet.

Would someone be kind enough to request Bet365 to add
Cool Survivor - Albert Bartlett Novice Hurdle to their antepost market?

I know Gordon just had A.Mike win at Down Royal, and he's a Ballymore or an A.Bartlett potential runner.

But its wise to get the bases covered on all prices being up before Cool Survivor runs.

Any help would be welcome, thank you.

Didnt elliott also say on the back of his last run that he was probably just a handicapper?

He was well weighted getting 4 pounds off the filly but nice performance. I'd assume he will go to the grade 1 in 3 weeks time.
