  • Cheers for that. I have cashed out for full return. The no mention of him last while had me worried anyway. Shorter price now but I can return to that if we hear anything positive.

    • Was trying to find out the plans for Tag Man, but not mentioned in HDB's stable tour. Anyone seen or heard anything

He was paraded around the yard today, so he's presumably fit.

            • Thanks both, just mindful there was no mention of him in the stable tour, he's a huge horse, a very similar build to stattler, I think they were aiming him at the Turners last year prior to an I injury. He's 8 years old now, I'd be interested to see if they go for the Ryanair or Gold Cup, he's only had 3 runs under rules which is the issue and he does seem to be very fragile.

Mentioned in the At the Races stable tour that Kevin Blake has just tweeted:

"He’s a huge horse with a huge engine. He’s hard to keep right. We’ll try and get him some experience in lesser Graded races over fences for the time being and he lacks experience."

Could all just be gossip, so who knows. But hopefully it’s true & he knows more about the plans for him than us!
Let's hope so as 95% of my limited betting at the moment on the festival are singles on him for the Ballymore

"With the turn of foot he showed in bumpers he'd be a Supreme horse, and with his pedigree he could turn out to be a Ballymore horse. His jumping is very good. Like his mother [Quevega], he's a natural."

                        • Sandor Clegane 66/1 for the Bartlett seems big. He has an entry this Saturday, have written about him in my diary for those interested.

'He picked up a tendon injury in the Champion Bumper at Punchestown last season and he won’t be running this season.'

So he's known for 6 months and not a word. Disgrace. Those that have backed him, write to Willie for a refund. Couldn't give two shits about punters.
