Same for Impaire et Passe who only has an entry for the 2m.

I think Willie usually sends his boats to the 2m6 race.

Seems to be a bit of a trend with them prominent this season

He’ll likely go to the same maiden State man won last year then supreme if he bolts up.

Think it will be the Moscow Flyer then straight into Cheltenham for him tbh.

                  Agreed. The DD route.

Ah interesting. Will keep tabs. To late for a handicap plot so would be graded or nothing.

Just had a look back. If he went to Limerick for that 2m maiden hurdle, it would be precisely the same route as State Man.

Aye, highly unlikely he’ll get 3 runs in 8 weeks.

State man’s maiden was at Limerick start of Feb where he bolted up by 8 lengths but because his fall counted as a “run” then he qualified for a handicap or I’d imagine he would have been Supreme bound.

Edit - unless he decides to keep him as a novice for next year but he’s already been with WPM over a year so don’t think that’ll happen imo.

Can pick a number of horses that have gone this route tbf.

If Willie does want to split him and Facile up it may be that he finds another race for him before the festival too. Maybe one over 2m4f, although the only one I can think of is the Michael Purcell at Navan in February.

Which race looks the weakest at this stage.... Supreme or Ballymore??

Supreme 100%. Tahmuras is 3rd fav.. says it all

Plenty will avoid FV and make the Ballymore a more competitive race

Neither are particularly whetting my appetite form a racing perspective.

I think I'm looking forward to the Bartlett most, as it stands.

                              • Probably not the festival dark horse I was expecting but Inneston goes again tomorrow. Hopefully better ground will allow him to show his true colours.
