Gavin's given Luccia at 3/1 Mares Novice apparently. That's... an interesting decision...

Perhaps he backed her weeks ago and now he’s getting windy

Yeah to be fair I'd have no doubt he's on her earlier and probably he's tipping now as he thinks she will win Tolworth and price will be really gone - but it means he's tipped Shoot First (12/1 Pertemps fave at time), Lossiemouth (8/1ish Triumph fave at the time), Minella Cocooner (10/1ish RSA) and Luccia (3/1 Mares Novice fave at the time) from my memory. Not sure I'd be wanting to pay too much for that info.

That said, his day to day eye catchers and horses to follow have been really, really good apparently so depends what you pay your money for I guess.

              • Paddy power and betfair have gone 10/1 Rare edition 7/1 without vega, He's still available 25/ and 16/1 at bet 365.

                • Don’t think I’ve seen this posted - RPR of 151 for Hermes Allen. Visually, I thought it looked better than that. For comparison, BMG got 154 for his Challow win.

Where do you think he might rock up next, would need a rapid turn out to be eligible for the Betfair and given they've given him 138 tough one to weigh up as you'd entertain him off that but they might as well go graded with the Betfair not really an option so leaves Rossington or the Dovecoat(the latter not really ideal so late for a Supreme bid mind)

What's your opinion of his hurdling to date? Clearly got an engine in him would like to see him a bit better in that department nto imo, still I'm not crabbing 25s pokes too harshly.

I've only watched his recent win just now and then saw your comment, which summed up my thoughts perfectly. He's not the smoothest over hurdles is he? Clearly reflected in his price and it's not like Facile Vega has been foot perfect either though.

It's a bastard of a race to solve this season.

                          • Surprised at some of the odds for the Lawlors with Betfair.

                            Grangeclare West 5/4
                            Gaelic Warrior 5/2
                            Inothewayurthinkin 5/1
                            Irish Point 5/1
                            Champ Kiely 7/1
                            Dawn Rising 7/1
                            Spanish Harlem 9/1
                            14/1 bar
Affordale Fury at 16/1 if declared stands out when compared with Dawn Risings odds.

Grangeclare West being much shorter than Gaelic Warrior - do they know Gaelic isn't going or if Townend has picked Grangeclare West?

Intriguing race. Got a couple in there who are likely to be aimed at Cheltenham handicaps I would have thought but the winner should go favourite for the Ballymore.

                            • The fly in the ointment for me and a horse that has somehow gone right under the radar and not mentioned at all by anyone on here is Inothewayurthinkin. He's done absolutely nothing wrong on his two runs which haven't worked out bad at all and you suspect they have definitely not got anywhere near the bottom of him yet. Anyone else thinking the same?

Doubt it, Gwest win over the distance already, should be initial fav.
