…..let’s hope An Tobar is as good as his PtP suggests, the stable tour might be the first hint.

He looked to have some toe in that Point so you'd think the Ballymore would be his race. I can't imagine they'd want to target him at any other race to be honest.

TBF, from my own memory/knowledge, I don't think Hendo has a huge number of potential Supreme 'stars' in the making this coming season. Jet Powered is obviously one, and the other is Park Hill Dancer. I've no idea which, if either of them, will be top of the tree.

Looking forward to the Chepstow meeting to see if any of his make an appearance, although they usually start at Newbury.

Last season he had 4 or 5 that were talked of highly, the likes of Jonbon, I Am Maximus, Jet Powered was also mentioned then too, Russian Ruler, and they were all before Constitution Hill was even priced up, let alone entered up anywhere.

I have him backed for this but some p2p experts think he needs further, comforting that Nicky does well with 2milers though it must be said.

Nicky seems quite bullish regarding Jet Powered but says he needs to mature and grow up plenty.

I have considered, and backed him with a freebie for the Ballymore at 25's but Nicky does tend to go down one route with his best hurdlers, and that is the Supreme, so plenty of hope that that will still be the case for Jet Powered, at least until we've seen him run, anyway.

                    Hopefully Firestep runs this season.

That's the one I couldn't think of. He was noted as one of his big hopes. He's by Mahler, and likely to need a trip.

…bit of chat about the Gigginstown owned ShanBally Kid joining W Mullins. 50-1 into 33-1 with 365 for Ballymore, 12-1 from 16-1 any race with Hills.

Form of his bumper win looks very average at best

That's my thoughts. Happy to sit this one out at present.

….I suppose you can do no more than win a bumper easily regardless of opposition.

More interesting to me is that Gigginstown rarely send theirs to Mullins, so I ask, ‘would they send him one if they didn’t think it was good’? I wish I knew the answer.
