Ahoy still races like a novice,huge engine but he learnt nothing from last season,Wonder if they might slap some cheekpieces on him for the GC as he is looking at everything except for whats in front of him.

Agree. Thought he was beat today but then stormed back and won cosiliy. He's got every chance in March over an extra 2f. He'll love it. Thought he jumped as well as he ever has today. Really impressed.

Don't see any of that lot getting close to Conflated let alone GDC and APT if he's anywhere near his best. It really does look one for the Irish

How is that having it both ways? If 3 or 4 of the top lot pull out of the race then of course something from that race today would then have a chance, but I'd have the Irish ahead at this stage, and probably Bravemansgame to beat them lot today too.

I'm not backing anything from today's race, put it that way.

GDC, I'd still forgive A Plus Tard for his last run, given his performance last season in the race, Stattler & Conflated for me.

I backed the Irish 1-2-3 in the Gold Cup special, so I'm not just of the opinion I've backed my opinion and that's all I can do
