Bloody hell boys.....calm down. It doesn't sound like anything remotely worrying and he's back on song now as well. If they reported on niggles for every horse they'd be up for 24 hours a day. They are all fragile things and pick niggles all the time. We wouldn't expect to see him until Xmas anyway.

It wasn't said like that IMO.

He missed a week, 3 weeks ago, but hes back up to speed now.

WPM had evey chance to say he's behind the others etc, but he didn't, so he's probably not.

Asked about race planning he didn't know where he would start back or when.

It's the 12th October, so he probably wouldnt be running for 4. 5, 6 weeks on seasonal debut, so he doesn't need a plan just yet.

It's normally one race then a Christmas race then the DRF, 3 runs and Cheltenham.

Or spaced a little differently if the right races aren't there at Christmas.

Isn't that prize money actually reason for him to go for the X Country. He'd likely be favourite there and have a serious chance of winning.

Finished 4th in last season Gold Cup and this year, at the moment at least, looks like being an even better renewal. Not much reason to think he'd better that.
