Hopefully Stattler will really put it up to GDC at Leopardstown jumping out in front from fence to fence and make it a real slog. That's what we all want to see. That'll definitely prove whether GDC stays or not.

Very much doubt that will be the riders instructions from Willie though, he isn't going to want any race a month before Cheltenham end up being a proper war of attrition is he? Especially with 2 of his own?

On SportingLife Willie said one more run before Cheltenham but didn't specify the target.

Not sure if there is another race in Ireland for him but if he doesn't go to the Irish Gold Cup, there is the Cotswold Chase and the Denman Chase for him.

Re: Noble Yeats and Hewick, I feel like every year there's a horse with an unusual passage to Cheltenham (Presenting Percy having the course changed round for a gallops, Royal Pagaille). I've only really been following the game since 2014, but I can't recall any of them ever winning - bar Coneygree? My view is it usually pays to back proven 3m chasers, in particular those that ran in last year's Broadway. Am I blinkered? Even before the prices I couldn't have NY or Hewick at all

Noble Yeats Provisionally jocked up for the Fleur De Lys Chase Sunday at Lingfield. Nice 85k pot for not having to race against any proper G1 horses, Fans of his should be expecting him to win this on route to the GC but potentially good placing regardless looking at the entries and money on offer.
