Crowdfunder - Fat Jockey Forum upgrade

Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

  • Would have naturally liked Stattler to win comfortably but, giving weight away, in heavy ground with Roi Mage so close up means I'm taking just about nothing away from that race.

    • Indo didn’t read the script, not be getting fancy prices on him to place&(P4).

      • Indo normally poor on his first run out so HDB will be happy with that.

          I'd imagine they'd be delighted

Especially with the way he battled at the finish

Finished his races very weakly last year compared to usual

          • If Stattler is pushed out at all it would be worth backing. Giving 8 pound, will relish the extra few furlongs as well as going left. Huge chance I reckon.

                  • I see a few mentions of Hewick as an outside stayers hurdle candidate. Shark is still of the opinion Hewick will be aimed at the Gold Cup

                      • The sun may have played a part in King George VI Chase favourite L'Homme Presse jumping left in the Kempton showpiece, according to his rider Charlie... Read More

Williams remains coy on what might be next... "There were monumental rumours and nasty words, but we haven't discussed plans for L'Homme Presse so I'm not going to elaborate. He's fine though."

Can anyone shed any light on this? Also not sure why Venetia wouldn't just say that he could go to the Cotswold, the Denman or straight to the Gold Cup. Those would seem like the only real options.

                          Your quote needs more context.

She was referring to the horse she won the King George with and the media bollocks surrounding his participation/none participation in the Gold cup.
                          But still very strange.
She did say he;s fine though.

Thanks; the article wasn't clear which horse the rumours were about.

                              • Monkfish entry is interesting. They must have a scintilla of hope (and hope might be all they have) that he makes it. No point entering otherwise.
