Would have naturally liked Stattler to win comfortably but, giving weight away, in heavy ground with Roi Mage so close up means I'm taking just about nothing away from that race.

Williams remains coy on what might be next... "There were monumental rumours and nasty words, but we haven't discussed plans for L'Homme Presse so I'm not going to elaborate. He's fine though."
Can anyone shed any light on this? Also not sure why Venetia wouldn't just say that he could go to the Cotswold, the Denman or straight to the Gold Cup. Those would seem like the only real options.

She was referring to the horse she won the King George with and the media bollocks surrounding his participation/none participation in the Gold cup.
But still very strange.
She did say he;s fine though.
