  • Would love it if she went Stayers. Would add so much to the race. She's already won a Mares so why not add to her breeding value with a Stayers win on her CV ? Go on Nicky, do it !

    • ….plenty of Oddschecker blue for Marie’s Rock & Stayers. 14-1 still available with cash-out, 16-1 without.

      • I'd be very wary, You'd want to see the full quote.
Obviously she could go stayers, she's entered and all that.

Perhaps Nickys heard a whisper that Brandy Love is burning up the Gallops back home.

I still live in hope anyway

          • Got a decent single and a hell of a lot of accas with MR for the Mares so I'd be devastated if she goes to the Stayers. Please Nicky don't do it, she hoses up in the Mares.

She's fine isn't she? Going straight to there the last I heard.

Yep. She'll be left in both no doubt and a decision will be left late. Weather will have a bearing.

                  • Having backed her at 16s for Stayers and lost all hope this would be a pleasant surprise if true! FWIW I think she'd win the Stayers with a bit of ease.

                    • Saxon, as always!!, makes a very good point about Teahupoo and that last year's was his rising 5 year old year, a point we sometimes usually forget. He know enters his prime NH career.

It does also take sometimes to go back a year, or even 2, to read trainer comments about horses.

Agree with Twitter. There is a lot of pocket talking either positive or negative. As someone earlier stated, it is very much willie wavering.

I'd like to see Saint Sam again though. Could be Willie's only dart for this race.

Or he sees her up against Epatante at home and realizes MR can't win

Agree with this...Gordon mentioned 3ms for him way back in 2021.

Yes he was a 5yo running over way too short a trip

No surprise he couldn't keep going in the champion hurdle would've been in top gear all the way round

He improves again he could be one of the top stayers for a few years to come

Then remembers what happened when they met on the track

                              • For what it’s worth, I gave Tim Palin a message on Twitter about Marie’s Rock Cheltenham target earlier today and he’s just got back to me saying both races are on the table but the Mares is still most likely
