A great engineering feat no doubt but shouldn't have been given such a sexy name

    • Unfortunately not, I was expecting a monty python type device, steam powered, pumping out pigs as far as the eye can see.

Everyone is talking on here like he's ruled out, but the update I saw said it was 50/50.

There's nothing like a bit of positivity
The news is a real sickener for me as he's in loads of very decent multiples and now I just don't want to look at this race even though I do have singles on Home By The Lee and Klassical Dream.

I want to be positive that FP can make it but it doesn't sound great, especially when he's not miles above others so really needs to turn up 100% without having missed work unfortunately.

Absolutely, 50% chance he'll get there which is pretty much the same as every other horse

                • Vannillier is never winning a national or anything of worth over fences whilst he’s got a hole in his rear. Wonder if they’d revert him back over hurdles - C&D winner - if FP doesn’t make it?

                  • I know his dream is the Gold Cup

However,it must be on the sharks mind that this is very winnable now with Hewick

Being plotted at something over fences imo

He's jumped much better both starts this season after they sorted out his back problems

2 runs over way too short a trip this season to get his mark down, I'm looking out for entries in handicaps over 3m+

He's set to run in the galmoy, wins and proves his stamina you're on a live one. Doesnt stay and gets beat and hed be very unlikely to run and youre getting money back.
I do get the angle, but he could win a poor Galmoy (his class may get him over the line more than him proving his stamina) and turn up at the festival and fail to stay at Cheltenham against much superior opposition, although you'll at least be ahead in terms of value as should he win the Galmoy his price will cut in half.

Best of luck with him, anyway

                        • ….looking like Teahupoo is entered for Galmoy.

Should p**s up, that's a poor field, but no surprise really, it usually is!

                              I certainly hope he does

In a very weak division he looks the obvious potential improver

                              • Aye, should be a comfortable win there. Would have been nice to see him on better ground but seems hugely unlikely! Might look for a win today and Stayers price though...

Had no idea Summerville Boy was in training with Henry! Although I see he's already ran for him last month. That Supreme seems a lifetime ago
