Also, beating the pig 4l doesn't read that well does it?
Yeah, I done a bit about the age stats and even returning horses in the race earlier I'm the thread, however, that was based on it being a race with all the main protagonists in. I think they can almost go in the bin if we don't have FP and Blazing Khal turn up.

      Which leg though ?
      4/6 off fore
      1/3 near fore
      11/10 off hind
      2/1 near hind

If it was a fracture, break it'd be out for the season, possibly for good,if it was a muscualr problem he'd not miss more than a few days as a physio would have already been working on the area,breathing..most ops are 24hr turnaround nowdays, bleeding he'd go on medication and continue to work through it,just probably be given some diaretics a few hours before going out and have his water removed until after working.

Yes I'm guessing but from a position of experience which helps...ever so slightly haha.

They weren't nibbled as others swamped me at lower prices. I did however move my single bets to NRNB for the loss of a point or so. Doesn't help the multiples though

So you're saying people dumped their positions en masse ?

No. I'm saying the opposite. Other people fancies backing him at inflated prices. I looked to back ?1 @ 25. Within a few hours, others had posted bets at 14s, 12s, etc.

            • Ah cheers, I got the wrong end of the stick there.
Well I hold no position on him at all but I do hope he turns up on the day,He deserves to have a chance of making it 3 stayers hurdles.

Wouldn't he (Gelino) need about ten in front of him in the market to come out as well in order to have a chance?

His best back form seems to be finishing second to Blazing Khal twice, certainly that's better than the field he beat in the Grade 1 at Aintree when any of the good ones looked done in after their Cheltenham exertions.

                  • Have i read the update on Flooring Porter wrong?

Everyone is talking on here like he's ruled out, but the update I saw said it was 50/50.

There's nothing like a bit of positivity

Had to Google this as I initially thought it was some sort of a horsie treadmill.

Not as disappointing as when I discovered there is something called a Pig Launcher but it was not what I thought it'd be.

It pretty much is but they walk around rather than on the spot, treadmills are harder on the legs so not good for horses carrying any kind of injury.
Pig launcher...now this I must google

So it’s not a catapult to launch piggies into the stratosphere?

                              • Wow….

This race has become even more tricky

FP was the one realible horse that would have set the pace. This could be the same year when Penhill won, with a “sprint” up the hill

what a mess, I’ll probably leave this race now until the day
