Real shame. The most impressive horse in the last 2 years for me. I hope we see him again, but he'll be 10 next year.

Allaho's withdrawal could be bad news for the Champion Chase and Gold Cup.
I think there'll be a few who would have been swerving the Ryanair because of Allaho's dominance in the race, his absence opens the race up massively and whilst this now becomes a competitive heat it's likely it'll mean horses defecting from those two championship races...

I think Kingy will be tempted to supplement Edwardstone now, he's been talking about stepping him up all season.

I'm more concerned with the likes of Conflated dropping down, or GA Law stepping out of handicaps on the back of this...

I think it’s unlikely Edwardstone would step up now given he just beat Energumene, and with a closer ride to EDG next time out he’ll have a superb chance to win the CC.

I can definitely see Blue Lord going Ryanair after his latest defeat, and Conflated potentially now it looks so open. HEC surely will be supplemented now too. We’ll get a handle on Shishkin this weekend against Fakir and Pic D’Orhy. The WTAF prices will be interesting.

He's only ever said he'd step him up if he proved not to be a 2 miler. That's done and dusted now.
