Most likely winner for me, but EDG and Energ and GDM are making this a real competitive renewal.

Well he did have a blip, but yes he’s a very consistent horse and one that you can pretty much rely on to give you a run for your money.

He’s my best result, but I have now got GDM on side, he’s a big player if ground is ok.

It was UR.
Not sure he'd learn an awful lot from that either, he probably enjoyed it more without someone on his back.
We get a lot of talk on here about horses learning, and I'm sure they do learn stuff.
But I'm not sure it's always the stuff we'd like them to learn. Like "I'll not go short again"
And they definitely don't watch the videos back.

Alan King Edwardstone

I'm delighted that the injury scare after his last run at Cheltenham proved to be nothing. I'm very happy with him, he's moving fine and is firmly back on track. It will be tough but we're looking forward to it.

I can think of a lot worse current EW bets than this one in what could be a very, very small field.....
Captain Guinness
Betway Queen Mother Champion Chase, 50-1
We said after Christmas we'd put him away. He went a good gallop and winged fences at Leopardstown and he had them all thinking about it at the second-last, and then he started to peter out up the straight – he hits two miles and he just stops. One mile, seven furlongs and 199 yards on the Old course on a bit of better ground will suit him. I think he'll run well. I know he's a big outsider but he's entitled to take his chance.
