  • Danny from the front. Walsh wouldn't have been able to give him that ride. The Champion Chase is wide open.

      • Blue Lord won’t be in this race now.
        Ryanair or nothing.

          Easy game this laying!

Ended up much shorter than I'd laid him at as well, so messed it up a bit

Gentleman De Mee I actually thought would work his way into being a big player this year and he's been dreadful
I looked at the ground and the jockey change and I thought... when did he last get a run from the front on better ground, oh aintree beating Edwardstone lol. great shout

No doubt but Walsh isn't as good as Danny for me.

I think Edwardstone was never really given the credit for his season, and whilst you'd assume Energumene is comfortably ahead of GDM, an injury or poor perforamnce to just one of Shishkin or Energumene at any point gives you a really solid looking stab at getting a fav beat...

That said, number 1 hope for the season is Shishkin looks imperious in the UK, Energumene mops up in Ireland and we have the QMCC clash we all hoped for....

Or they just run against each other a few times again, which is pie-in-the-sky stuff now...

16/1 and 14/1 - annoyingly seen GDM was 50/1 NRNB before this race today which is usually the kind of bet I'd be making!

                  Annoyed myself.

                  • Might've followed you in on that 50/1 if you'd mentioned it. So I'm a bit annoyed at you as well...

                        • I know Blue Lord has underperformed so they've pushed him and clipped the front two but was Energumene the same price as Eddie before today I thought he was half a point/point bigger ?

Energumene was best priced 9/4 before today, Edwardstone 15/8.

                            • The horse that was 2nd last year in the QMCC, is 100/1

130/1 with a boost at Ladbrokes.

Funambule Sivola - welcome to the team.
