Hope he does come across again for the Clarence House next weekend. It'll be another intriguing race.

Edwardstone has proved me wrong since going into the Arkle. The improvement has been very impressive.

I think Edwardstone was never really given the credit for his season, and whilst you'd assume Energumene is comfortably ahead of Gentleman De Mee, an injury or poor perforamnce to just one of Shishkin or Energumene at any point gives you a really solid looking stab at getting a fav beat...
That said, number 1 hope for the season is Shishkin looks imperious in the UK, Energumene mops up in Ireland and we have the QMCC clash we all hoped for....
Or they just run against each other a few times again, which is pie-in-the-sky stuff now...
Now....
4/5 Energumene
4/11 Edwardstone
If I was starting now, I'd be backing Energumene ..... different league.
This'll be built as a clash and end as a romp......... I really do need to start backing Energumene

I'd be backing Energumene as well.
However, after being in team Energumene all last season and him doing me a big turn.
I'd be with the new fella, at 11/4 though.
One of those heads vs tails match ups I reckon, and so I'd go with the odds.
Much tougher call if the bookies evened the prices out a little.

I disagree, I don't think it's a close call or a 50/50 - 4/5 is the value

Eddie is made of sterner stuff than Shitskin I reckon. Battle hardened boy. Even Willie said he's frightened of him. Be afraid, be very afraid.
Great race to look forward too. Love it.
