I have the fear that it could happen,unlikely as it looks on all known form...but the fear is there on my shoulder for sure,I'll be relieved when the race is over (Yes I'm clearly in a very hefty position on him winning)

Depends whether Jonbon wins. I have some of the Skybet 125/1 special on Jonbon Arkle & Constitution Hill Champion Hurdle. I'm sure some others must have this too..?

I spent most of the summer putting CH or Jonbon in doubles with any flat horses I really fancied (along with ones I had a good word for),so while the stakes aren't huge it's added up to a very good amount running onto both...the missus has her eye on a cruise holiday and either winning would cover it.

If both lost it won't have cost me a earth shattering amount but my confidence would be shaken which is never good when punting as I find myself second guessing everything I think and end up betting big on the losers & small on the winners...yes this has happened more often than I'd care to admit.

I have him at an average of 17/2 because of roll ups and he brings in 50pts, however how fussed I am in him vs State man is dictated by multiples including Facile Vega and Jonbon so if they have both gone in he potentially makes a massive difference rolling onto GDC.

Bookies have big liabilities for the Vega/Jonbon/C Hill Treble as well.

…I have C Hill Sup/Ark at 16-1 but for no significant monies. I think there’s a few of us who have CH/FV/GDC/Sir G any race RAB with Sky, that one would be pleasant but it’s difficult to see all 4 winning.

All I have him in is a RAB of Vega, Jonbon CH and GDC all to win AR at 100/1, maybe another RAB here or there but not much really

Con Hill in the preview nights is being spoken about like he's already one of the sports greatest in history. When in fact, and reality is, he's a grade 1 and Supreme Novices' winner and that's it as it stands.
Im not sure beating Epatante twice, Jonbon and Jetoile is warranting the hysteria so far, yeah yeah there's the manner etc. But let us not forget Envoi, Bob, appreciate it (to an extent),samcro in recent years.

I’d tend to agree. I think he’ll win, but I’d be surprised if it’s as authorative a win as everyone seems to think. I get the impression people are expecting him to win by 20l on the bridle or close to it, I think it’ll be a lot closer than that and I’d expect the jockey to have to get serious on him. I’d personally like to see a horse go and actually win a champion hurdle before crowning him as a great. You can use overall times and sectional times etc to say he already is but nothing beats actually running in a competitive race against other top class horses and beating them well to prove your a great. His beatings of epatante this season make him look like he’s in a different league, but given they’re from the same stable and they rate him higher then I’d say they haven’t been giving epatante too hard of a race in either of those wins and happy to make life easy as possible for him during the race.

Not sure if there's a market on it yet but that will be my bet in it. They can go fast or slow, it won't matter as he's a cut above all of these.
