Potters rated 146 now, so he looks well enough treated to me.
Will look even better if Potters runs well on the Wednesday.
I don't really get the point of entering him again in the Pertemps Qualifier though. He already had his mark from the last time he was entered (Warwick I think) before it was called off. The same three entered again, Minella, Staffordshire Knot & Harsh.

Unless he's just telling everyone 'these are my handicap good things' or they are all intended runners in the race.

….but didn’t they ‘get a mark’ last time he was declared and the meeting was lost to the weather?

Edit; just seen CoD response above

      • fair play, missed that. I'd be concerned he'd be looking to qualify and line up in the Pertemps final then. Hard to see as a positive for an MP bet.

Just held on in the end which, although still a win, won't help with getting his mark up substantially. I'd say they may have to run again if the Turners handicap is going to be the target.

          • ComplyOrDie was correct with Anzadam and Dancing City targets, both entered at Naas.

Also plenty of maidens entered at Fairyhouse Kawboomga, Kocktail Divin, William Munny.

                  • Diva Luna takes up her Friday Sandown entry as expected.

Mares Novice Hurdle could be in for some shake up with her and Maughreen out within days of each other.

                    • I hope that Maughreen wins and continues to make the market. She may well go on and win the MNH - but she's just too short for me.
(What's the biggest that she has been?)

I still think that 6.5 is the standard setter and would be much shorter if trained by Willie.

It's another underwhelming division at the moment, but still a few weeks for something to come out and light it up.

                      • Wade Out goes again for the 'Under The Radar' novice hurdle list in the 2m4f Grade 2 on trials day at Cheltenham. He's finally up in trip which I've felt he's always needed, but he's also up in grade too. The race is on the new course which should play to his strengths as he's a strong finisher. I'm not sure he'll beat the favorite but I think a top three finish is very possible.

Ah, 'hiding' him in a Grade 2, good work from Olly

One of my previous posts on him mentioned handicaps as a possibility as he started out early. But he’d still need another run after this if that’s the plan. I have a feeling they might be running on merit though this weekend.

Will likely run on merit but not good enough, hence being able to hide in a race of this nature

Given Potters Charm is rated 146 albeit giving them 5lbs, you'd not want to be getting too close to him, unless of course you actually believe you can win the race, which I'd have my doubts about.

I'm confused, is he or isn't he running on merit then?
