I certainly wasn’t implying Blood Destiny has similar ability to Allaho! But I do think he’s an interesting one for the race. I’m willing to forgive his inconsistent novice season as a five year old. His form with Spillane’s Tower has a different complexion now too.

Think your lad is a little overpriced, personally.
Well we called the market right, if nothing else JackieMoon33

      Honky 5/2 out to 11/2
      Derryhassen 15/2 into 2/1

I love Paddy. He’ll go down on his sword every race and finds loads. Interesting if they dodge Cheltenham and go to Aintree instead.

Had they mentioned the Bartlett previously?

Looks like he could stay all day, once he got that rail he came right back up and probably would have won further but for some interesting riding by the runner up!

Cracking race, obviously always nice to be on the right side of them results too!

True, I doubt I'd have been as magnanimous if I'd been on Honky Tonk

Definitely would have won by further if he didn’t have to scrape his way passed Honky Tonk. The Nick Luck podcast interview stated staying trips but maybe Aintree over Cheltenham.

…..one of the connections (I honestly can’t remember who it was) said he was an AB type at the beginning of the season, not sure if they’re still thinking that way after a couple of runs.

Jockey said he was looking forward to the rest of the year, Russell might say more.

Just said the same in the novice hurdle thread, Skelton knew exactly what he was doing btw. That could be viewed as careless riding imo.

His last engagement was cancelled but this time it looks like the weather can't scupper things. This is the trip I'd had in mind for him at the start of the season but it's a tough race and he's currently the outsider of the five that go to post. Hopefully he'll prove better than that and can be in the shakeup.

Thanks for the heads up Jackie

What a unit DP is……can’t wait to see him over a fence, although he jumped super over the small obstacles I thought

15/2 about a 2/1 winner is always sweet

and 125/1 for the AB is value when most are 33/1 now

He's a big ol' whopper who'll run until he passes out. He'll certainly be interesting next season and wouldn't surprise me if he's in a National one day.

Surely the Sefton at Aintree will be a nice target for them? - yard has done well in the race with some nice chasing types.

Sefton has been their main target with staying hurdlers but they've had runners in the AB and even the winner.
