Fair point I’d forgotten it was an open race. But with the only other credible rival in the UK in his own stable, I doubt it matters!

    • Sir Gino could be on a collision course with Kalif De Berlais in the Game Spirit. Nicholls horse has been given a Champion Chase entry which says plenty. Once upon a time PN used to dominate the 2m Chase scene. Perhaps KDB could be the horse to get him back on that map ?

He was very sweet on KDB in his horses in training book for 24/25.

        • Indiana Dream entered at Windsor. Obviously made of glass but looked pretty special the one time he made the course as a novice hurdler and chaser for Willie. Not went for Cheltenham like but nice to see him back. Despite being moved to Jonjo I see...

            • Derryhassen Paddy goes for the under the radar novice hurdle list at Windsor tomorrow over 3m. His last engagement was cancelled but this time it looks like the weather can't scupper things. This is the trip I'd had in mind for him at the start of the season but it's a tough race and he's currently the outsider of the five that go to post. Hopefully he'll prove better than that and can be in the shakeup.

I may be eating my words at 12:47pm tomorrow, but can't understand why Honky Tonk is fav!

Think your lad is a little overpriced, personally.

Yeah I had the same thought, but money for Skelton runners can often be a good indicator.

                  • Karoline Banbou entered again at Down Royal Tuesday, hopefully declared there after missing out at Cork tomorrow for whatever reason.

                      Lucinda seems keen on him

Amen. This feels like a London vanity project. Can't think of a single race this weekend that is adding to the calendar. What's that 2m6 graded chase all about?! 1 week after a 2m4 grade 2 at Kempton (abandoned this year, I know) and 1 week before the Cotswold chase. Simply no need

                          • Blood Destiny declared in the Horse and Jockey with Paul on top. Could he be taking the Allaho route to the Ryanair?

He may take the route, but he's a far cry from what Allaho was, same goes for the others Willie has declared for the race, too.

                              • Blood Destiny would get sick if he sees the hill again. He’ll be getting traumatic Triumph flashbacks. He’s a flat track horse that finds very little.
