Surely a huge vote of confidence that Paul has picked her over Baby Kate who seemed a decent enough sort last year.

Does seem highly thought of.
Same sire as Buveur Dair, and dam had same sire as Sprinter Sacre.
Not heard anything.

If I'd never seen him run, I'd say he would be a AB horse, but then I'd have said the same for Ballyburn too.

Strong Leader has to be the bet of the weekend @ EVS, for the Long Distance Hurdle.
Langer Dan doesn't like this time of year and has never gone beyond 2m5f, Monmiral is looking for a mark for a repeat in the Pertemps and Flight Deck is rated 132.
Olly Murphy is also in top form (25% win rate last two weeks), whereas some of Dan Skeltons runners have needed the run (10% win rate from last 2 weeks).
Someone try and put me off.

Thought some of the comments were odd.
This one in particular "The positive this year is that he competed at a much higher level in the spring than he has done before. We've started seasons before in the mid-140s whereas now he's 160, which is a very different area to be in."

maybe he’ll be telling langer before the start that he should do better now he’s rated higher.

Captain Teague and the Jukebox Man facing each other on chase debuts tomorrow at Newbury. With Johnnywho in there as well. Probably the three shortest UK based horses in the BANC, not that they says too much. Few others with a bit of chasing experience as well so could be a reasonable test.
Slightly surprised Captain Teague is fav despite absolutely wanting to buy into the hype

Of stable tours are anything to go by (particularly Willies) then Jonnywho will be JP McManus' sole participant in the BANC. I only have Majborough covered for the BANC and don't intend on covering him for the Arkle. I just can't see him having the pace for an Arkle. He will come out and win his beginners chase easily enough I'm sure but I don't see In anyway where he can keep up with the likes of a Ballyburn, Firefox, Inthepocket or even L'eau Du Sud. McManus is mob handed in the Arkle, if one is moving up then surely its him. Winning the Triumph points to a stayer regardless of age, he would be In there with a race full of other novices. Either Jonnywho is outstanding or somebody is pulling the wool

Could be interested to see some WTAF prices.
