She got a couple last week too so hopefully she'll take one up, not that I've backed her.

Peaky Boy in entered although I can see Henderson swerving it again. However, the main entry of note for me is Minella Hollow in the closing race on Sunday. Along with Classical Creek he was my other (hopeful) long range pick for the Champion bumper. He's still with John Nallen so his nephew will likely take the ride and this could be course experience before going for the big one in March. Wishful thinking most likely but you never know

        • That Navan card on Saturday has some good races.

Wingmen in the 2m4 maiden. HSBs won a bumper and PTP so could be anything.

Decent 2m graded novice - I like Patter Merchant for when he goes up in trip so I think they'll be mark hunting now. Interesting to see how Mywayofthinkin runs as another on the radar for a handicap.

Lismullen Hurdle as the usual horses and will be good to see how Jetara runs. Dawn Rising hasn't been over jumps since March 2023 but had some good flat form.

Found a Fifty, Gentleman de Mee, Captain Guinness, Banbridge in the 2m chase. Better than the Shloer on Friday.

Down Memory Lane, King of Kingsfield, No Flies on Him, Nurburgring, Birdie or Bust in the 2m novice - better than the Arkle trial at Cheltenham.

He Can't Dance was on the bumper shortlist but Swan is on the other Gigginstown horse who has already been beat in a bumper.

I don’t think anyone should be surprised that a meeting in Ireland could have better races than a meeting in Britain
            Kind of normal now.

Very tough opening for Wingmen there and hopefully will be a decent contest.

Down Memory Lane I'm REALLY looking forward to. Should be perfect ground for him and I'm hopeful last seasons niggles don't prevent him from being as top class as I thought he would be last season. I felt he'd have been a Turners horse this season but looks like they'll go back in trip rather than up. He's built for chasing so I hope he'll lay down a marker there. I'll die on the Down Memory Lane hill!

Karonacho for Olly Murphy is my other notable entry for Saturday in the bumper at Uttoxeter. He's a watching brief only and hardly the most sexiest of entries.

Peaky Boy declared in a trappy looking race. He'd be the best long term but there could be some others who are well in at the weights too. Still not sure whether this intermediate trip could point towards the Arkle or BANC for him if he's up to that level.

Minella Hollow has Sam Twisters on board so they've opted for experience. Good booking as the horse is a tricky ride but hopefully this better race will see him settle better. Block Rocking Beats and Fortune De Mer reoppose (course form) and they're both decent horses, so it's a quality enough race for this time of the season.
