Daryl Jacob at the meeting, something for him to ride?
Opportunity for her to run ....

Sounds feasible rather than her being a plot

              • Decs are out for Fairyhouse and a fair few from the Cheltenham have been entered. The Yellow Clay has been entered in a maiden hurdle that, even by Gordon's standards, seems a very strange move given the time of the season.

The sales bumper will be the one that I'll be keeping a close eye on. Willie has some expensive well bred entries but the pick would be Gordon's Butchers Bill who is a younger full brother to Romeo Coolio. It does beg the question though, should he win, could both brothers go novice hurdling in the same season?

Maybe he's been told novices aren't going to be able to run in Cheltenham handicaps and has decided this is the way to circumvent it haha

                    • I like the look of Anotherway for the 2m hurdle, 4/1 seems fair enough, hoping this is the plan and not Aintree. He’ll love the ground as seems it’s going to be on the heavy side.

Also boring but Blood Destiny looks the best bet in the Grade 1 novice chase imo.

In the Mares Novice, Jetara is the play surely at the prices given the top 2 had a tough race on heavy ground just over 2 weeks ago.

Is Found A Fifty not going? 2122 in Grade 1s this year and 9/2 is available against Blood Destiny 7/4 and Spillanes Tower 5/2!

Not sure mate, the heavy going Arkle just 19 days prior to Sundays run would be a concern imo? The top 2 having a bit of a longer break.

Yeah I do think that's a fair point - just wonder if FAF as a horse is being underestimated by the price at 9/2. 3/1 Vs 7/4 would feel a more reasonable "the break is the issue" pricing.

Also interesting that Gaelic warrior was noted for the race but isn't going so maybe it's hit him harder than anticipated

Would imagine Gaelic is just being kept for better things at Punchestown.

You are probably correct with the price angle, just feel that extra 10 days break the top 2 have had might make the difference. It’s going to be testing indeed!
