They already have You Wear It Well beat on known form, Shishkin will be out the back up to no good. You'd have to say Love Envoi would be the danger, unbeaten around Sandown and goes on the ground. hmmmm 14/1 so tempting lol.

    Travel buddy for Coko maybe
Been mulling it over as well.

I mean bar the raft of entries over xmas, what do the compilers know? Has there been any quotes indicating a favoured race? I've been searching and finding zero.

    • there was a few quid lined up to lay Irish Point 8s all the way to up to 15s earlier today, that's all disappeared now. CH out to 2.6 on the exchange.

      • Butcher Hollow entered for a 2m maiden at the weekend. Jimmy du Seuil, Quai de Bourbon (WPM trained Gigginstown owned half brother to Quais de Paris) and Milo Loses (WPM trained 2nd to Predators Gold in the Punchestown bumper) also entered. Elliott also has a nicely bred one in there called Aviation.

The grade 2 at Navan looks good if we get half of them turning up - Better Days Ahead, Croke Park, Lecky Watson, Mahons Way, Slade Steel, Stellar Story and others.

Most of them also entered at Cork the following day in a grade 3.

Hiddenvalley Lake in the 2m4 beginners chase, as are Saint Felicien, Shanbally Kid, Indiana Dream and a few others.

Zenta entered in the grade 2 mares novice chase on Sunday.

Jungle Boogie in the Hilly Way - didn't realize he's now with De Bromhead. El Fab in it as expected. Vabillier also entered...

        • Anyone else a little concerned we had a couple of entries for Mirazur West and now there’s been nothing for 2/3 weeks?!

Probably nothing, may keep him for the Boxing Day maiden as he normally throws a good one at that, well one that’s been hyped anyway. State Man, Sir Gerhard and Parmenion in recent years.

I'll only start to get worried if he doesn't get declared over the festive period.

He did it with Ballyburn and Daddy Long Legs too. Entered a couple of times, not declared, and then not entered again for a week or more. I'd not worry. Maybe just needs another bit of work before being seen?

                • Aye more than likely guys, said as much to COD on the novice hurdle thread. Just seems strange to enter him then not hear or see from him especially with all the maidens being run.

Daddy Long Legs and Ballyburn have now both been entered and run.

Full brother to Ferny Hollow, you'd have to be slightly concerned that he isn't as fragile as his brother, long as we see him before the new year I'll be happy.

                    • Stay Away Fay and Giovinco both declared on Friday at Sandown. We'll have a new favourite for the BANC after that race you'd think.

Selfishly want Giovinco to win with Stay Away Fay staying on at him to the line.

Not too much to ask I hope

I've backed both for the banc so both jumping well and a short head separating them at the line with 30 lengths back to third will do me, that's all i ask !

I only have Giovinco backed and I think he'll have a good chance if it's no worse than soft on the day.

Aye hopefully the ground doesn’t get too bad as Sandown can be worse than it looks/deacribed.

He has won on heavy before though albeit over shorter and hurdles and one of his ptp’s.

Very interested to see how the WTAF prices look for the very reason you mention
