    • Some decent looking types entered at Wexford in a 2m4 novice hurdle

Doctor Elvis - Doctor Dino gelding owned by Caldwell. Trained by Gordon

Intense Approach - O'Connell is very enthusiastic about him.

Mossy Fen Park - de Bromhead. Decent PTP winner won for ?200k

Practice Run - Robcour owned PTP winner for Mouse. 2nd in that PTP also entered (Sportinthepark)

I know some were interested in Intense Approach.

          • It's For Me (5th in the Champion Bumper) declared for Punchestown on Thursday, Caldwell Potter and Ascending (5th in the Triumph behind Lossiemouth) are two of his rivals.

            • Jees, the beginners chase at Navan on Saturday could be a Grade One. Facile Vega, ITP, Gaelic Warrior, American Mike, Doctor Bravo, Saint Felicien. Only entries as of now of course, but it looks like it could be a very good race.

Think that’s one of WPM’s usual starting points for his arkle horse if I remember rightly from Mr Saxons excellent diaries.

Although last couple of years it was a lot later due to ground issues etc.

365 have cut him on the back of it to 9/2

                        As well as Douvan

Theres a meeting at Thurles 23rd so hopefully we see Mr Policeman debut there as well if there’s a 2m novice chase. Un De Sceaux debut was there although falling.

If he’s not quite ready, maybe a bit later to see him. Maybe place him later to make sure his 2 hurdlers are fit and firing before sending him to a novice chase.

His second start is almost certainly going to be the Irish Arkle

                            Barry Big Potatoes

Hope he wrecks the Facile Vega lovin' again

                            • Pacini could be of interest for something like the Boodles for Gordon Elliott. Runs tomorrow at Punchestown. Looks a nice prospect on breeding. Plenty of speed you'd hope. One I'll be keeping an eye on.

What's made you think the Boodles and not the Triumph?
