Nice to see The Yellow Clay entered up. Was beginning to wonder re him.

Was DML previously entered for the 2m 6f Hurdle? If so, that would be a slight worry as well.

Great that they've saved the meeting though.
DB Cooper could still get an entry on the Saturday which is the bumper you’d want the entry in anyway.

DML had the entry over 2m6f but never took it up last week so I’m guessing it was just a block.

Gordon has been scatter gun with his entries this year with horses entered in both bumpers and hurdles on the same day!

The Yellow Clay has an entry in the bumper so maybe he'll also get one on the Saturday in the 2m hurdle race.
Down Memory Lane has no entry in the 2m6f hurdle so hopefully he'll get one on the Saturday after be didn't take up Fairyhouse against An Tobar.
DB Cooper missing from the Friday bumper entries this time round but the rest are there.
Saint Felician in the novice chase too!

      • Willmount declared for the 2m novice hurdle at Newbury on Thursday.

Personally I think that makes him only an antepost proposition for the Supreme. Henderson will keep him at 2m until he is beaten and if he's beaten in the UK then I don't think he's winning a Ballymore. Only two of Henderson's twelve Albert Bartlett runners in the last ten years have started over 2m so that is not impossible but unlikely.

I'd say the declaration is a vote of confidence from Henderson and he's in the mix but I wouldn't go as far as saying it means he is definitely the stable number one for the Supreme. Backers will be wanting him to win well with an RPR of 132+.

Agree. It's a weak race so we'll be getting plenty of rockets and aeroplanes on Twitter after he wins without coming out of second gear.

          • The Giant Bolster On the RPR point, I thought Jango Baie a little unlucky to get just 124. I think the 1st and 2nd are two very good horses.

No DB Cooper or Romeo Coolio in the Saturday bumper at Down Royal. Looks like Jalon D'oudaries or Jersey Des Brosses might be Elliott's nominated one.

All the usual suspects in the 2m maiden hurdle. Notable that it is Down Memory Lane's only entry.

I doubt it but I wonder if the week delay due postponement has changed their thoughts of getting the main one out early

Undeniable Alibi perhaps? Best long term prospect IMO

I agree that he looks a proper one for the future. Have Robcour ever had a Champion Bumper runner before though? Could be a change in tack though for sure.

He's the one I'd want next year but figured Robcour would dodge the bumper as they don't usually run one and keep their bumper horses low key.

I'd probably say it's Jalon and he's already said that Jersey is not really a bumper horse. That is on the assumption Robcour are still avoiding the festival bumper.

Some interesting entires for Naas too. Similar entries for the 2m maiden, but the 2m3 maiden sees a number of Willie's better bumper horses entered including Readin Tommy Wrong and Tullyhill. Mahon's Way (Henry), Stellar Story (Gordon) also entered.

And the 2m4f beginners chase includes an entry for Fact to File, Grangeclarewest, Nick Rockett, Saint Felicien and Doctor Bravo.

                            Edit: And Gaelic Warrior too!

Those Beginners Chase entries could be a Festival line up in a few months time.
