Plan is to run this weekend, but due some right storms between now and saturday so it will be interesting to see if he takes up the engagement, providing racing is actually on
Well yes, very interesting.
It will be 3 weeks until Haydock and then 4 weeks until Kempton.
He’ll go to Haydock ground dependent for a jog round if Wetherby is off this weekend.
Certainly wouldn’t be touching him or Shishkin in the Betfair that’s for sure. Seems like the king George could be a cracker with those 2 being primed for it.
Would be absolutely brilliant if WPM sent a big gun over but he won’t.

If Allaho came back all guns firing at Clonmel then he'll be on the boat this time.
He definitely won't run in both. If this weekend is off then he'll go straight to Kempton imo.
Well it’s rather confusing to me……if the quotes that they want and intend to run in the Betfair are correct, then surely they are planning Haydock, Kempton and Cheltenham??

I think PN was looking at long term forecast and has changed his mind to run at Wetherby this weekend.
Hence his price went from 6/5 to 4/5 on the back of it.
Update on Down Royal and expected another update in the morning.
I've heard Henry is talking about lapping it, so could be Gordy vs Gordy which would be a shame!
with the ground the way it is, probably won't give us much to go off for March!
I think at the moment, Wednesday morning 9.30am, our forecast should be just about OK for Down Royal, for Saturday, but if it does go ahead, will be very heavy ground. That will affect some running plans, and any results I'd take with a pinch of salt. Would not surprise me if Down Royal abandon Friday just to keep Saturday's card.
It really does depend how much rain we are going to get in Ireland today/tomorrow, though it looks like we are missing the worse of Storm Ciaran. If that UK forecast though is correct, I'd be surprised Ascot would survive so much rain but Wetherby looks OK at the moment to race.
