Yes exactly that Rufus. He runs tomorrow at Chepstow

An open handicap chase over slightly shorter than ideal. Despite the obvious downside his class may see him through. Hymac the obvious danger as an unexposed horse, and the time to get Nocte Volatus would be first time up. A few others with prospects too.

A run for experience, a win would be a bonus, and hopefully onto graded novice chases to see just how far he can go.
Luck is a dividend of sweat. The more I sweat, the luckier I get.

As many of you as possible should try to go as you need to be there to fully appreciate the thrill and excitement of ownership. There's nothing like it. Have a brilliant day all.

              Thanks Lobos. And yes absolutely.

I'm trying to make owning good horses as accessible as possible. Very much my method is to de-risk the buying process as much as possible. Good ones for the right money are very hard to find, and I won't buy for the sake of it. If the business is to build in the right way, the horses are the flagships. There were a lot of people interested in The King, but many wanted to enter at a lower level, and others were too late after he'd sold out. I could easily have bought something to fulfil that, but patience is the key. There's some very exciting news on that score though, and I expect to say more on Wednesday.

With the way he was speaking about him looking like DB Cooper could be his bumper horse

It’s the Saturday race that he targets his best bumper horse usually so we won’t know who gets an entry there too until tomorrow.

Wouldn't surprise me at all if American Mike won it

Absolutely thumped letsbeclearaboutit at the meeting last year

Then after that season was a complete right off

Be interesting to see if Gordon can get him back

He had zero respect for hurdles

                          May respect a fence more

Wouldn't be on my Cheltenham radar at the moment but if he's the right price may invest a few pennies on friday
