No, all flat races thus far. All 2m bar one, which was 2m4 I think.

              • Well as expected she's done that easily enough, could be another good one but too early to tell, still, hard to pick holes in that first run.

I guess she'll probably go over hurdles now.

                    Absolutely.

No point wasting a season in Bumpers, now she’s up and running, this early

Dont recall Willie making any recent plans for his top Bumper horses to start in the summer

….and if you’re not going to be a top Bumper horse, get out of them now

                    • 33/1 in the supreme. Worth noting for a future forum yankee maybe? Always find it better to get a little nibble in while they are essentially unheard of.(As unheard of as a daughter of Quevega and sister of Facile Vega can be anyway..... )

Aurora Vega is bred to be good. A daughter of six-time Cheltenham Festival heroine Quevega and a full-sister to dual Grade One scorer Facile Vega, she made a...

Have a read through Saxon Warriors Willie Mullins Diary and compare the profile of Mullins runners/winners with the profile of Aurora Vega...

You'll find your answer there to the question of her being thrown in a yankee for the supreme at 33/1 is a good idea or not and gain some race planning knowledge while your searching

                        • Haha. Yes OK. So the 14/1 in the Mares Novice is probably more realistic target wise then....

                          • Vauban declared in the last at Royal Ascot on Tuesday. Strong fav in a handicap off 99. Not sure on flat plans beyond that but they did always talk about him as a potential flat horse. Would put me off Champion Hurdle bet a touch, although I wasn't close to being on it yet to be honest.

If I remember right willie post race referred to him a potentially a true 2.5miler and not a 2m hurdler.. so hard to place in regards Cheltenham as surely he won’t be chasing anytime soon. Sometimes it’s easier just to leave some to the side entirely.. and I feel he’s one of those

                              • Doesn't interest me over Hurdles anymore but he should absolutely bolt up in Tuesday.
