  • I see Appreciate It and Flame Bearer both have entries this weekend over 2m and 2 and a half. Preferably want AI in the 2 and a half but we’ll just need to see.

I've thought about it for a minute but Hendo isn't winning a Ballymore.......has he ever ??

No issue with one starting out at 2 1/2, especially this early and especially if it's a terrible maiden. People are happy to have Ballymore tickets for Gaelic Warrior when he's just won a 2 mile race by half the track. Funny old game.

              Simonsig ran alright in it

Champ would've won it too if City Island hadnt had some superb hay in the build up to the race

Forgot Simonsig. Desperate record though from a top, top trainer. Absolutely awful.

He milks all the 2 mile races though so fair play to him for sticking to what works for him.

                • Captain Teague declared for the bumper at Warwick tomorrow. Not one for Cheltenham like as he's with Nichols (and a bumper horse) but I had him down as one of the most visually impressive point to point winners, from the very few points I actually saw last year... so I'm interested to see how he goes.

2m Beginners Chase - Dysart Dynamo, Appreciate It, Flame Bearer, El Fabiolo entered. - You'd think only one will run if it goes ahead. At least its an entry for DD

                          3YO - Jazzy Matty

                          Thurles Sunday

3m Beginners - Bronn, JWM, Ramillies - Finally an entery for JWM over 3m. Looking more likely he could step up after his debut defeat over 2 1/2

2m Nov Mares - Deeply Superficial, Liberty Dance, Harmonya Maker, Model Kingdom

I was hoping Caldwell Potter went straight over hurdles but looks like he'll be contesting bumpers. 33/1 for the champion bumper seems pretty reasonable about a horse that beat Franciscan Rock 20 odd lengths, that horse ran well behind Arctic Bresil the other day beaten 7 1/2 lengths.
