Not to Cheltenham by the sound of it. Forecast rain is minimal

        • No Nichols runners at Cheltenham Friday ? unless I missed one.
Mr Henderson only got a couple I reckon.
I mean, come on lads, get fu**ed.

Looks a nice card though for a Friday first up.

          • Quick ground, Nicholls was 'moaning' about it a little when mentioning Hitman and co over the weekend
Henderson... we all know he has a narrow window "Henderson good to soft, soft, a little soft for Henderson good to soft"

            • Aintree Sunday, lovely Chelt swerve card for Nicholls.

The 3:20 sums up the state of racing in this country

A novice handicap at Cheltenham would be a match race had Irish trainers not entered 3 horses

The prize money is also dreadful on both flat and jumps in this country, you have yaks in happy valley and sha tin running for 100k in handicaps

Racing needs a huge shake up otherwise what has happened to the greyhounds will happen to horse racing

I’ve thought this for few years.

Horse Racing is run like Dog Racing 2.0

                    • For those of you that love drama...

ATM and Chemical Energy both currently in the 3m Novice Chase, both with JK on board.
Tullybeg and Motown Maggie both currently in the 3m Handicap Chase, both with JK on board.

Chemical Energy and Motown Maggie only have entries in their respective races, ATM and Tullybeg declared for races on Friday.

It'll be really interesting this live entry situation if any of us have the time to watch it real time over the next season. Could give new information that we haven't had available before with regards to how often trainers do/don't have horses declared and remove them.

Also worth noting here: anything currently declared at 9.30am cannot be undeclared. So essentially trainers still have just under an hour from now to remove declared horses. Once 9.30 hits, those decs will stand as runners.

Worth noting too that Gordon has double entered horses and then ran them on consecutive days in this country on many occasions especially at the Perth festival.

He could be waiting for the rain perhaps? Easy to withdraw one tomorrow on the basis of the ground and not be fined then run Saturday if more rain overnight? Intriguing stuff this. Bloody confusing though!!
