He did but I think his big three (including Histrionic and Captain Bellamy) are wasting their time on the flat.

      • Haldon gold cup day on friday at exeter. Calico given an entry, with editeur de gite lining up, i believe calico would run off 145, 6lbs out of the handicap but stand to be corrected on this. I still think that leaves him a few lbs in hand, if EDG doesn't take up the entry he's surely a very good opportunity there.
Also on the card is the class 2 novice over 3m, which is worth over 20,000 to the winner and has attracted two very interesting entries in stay away fay and grey dawning, could be a very good match up.

        • An Epic Song makes his chase debut on Tuesday, Ran a blinder in the Coral cup, obvs relishes a poor surface but the best of him might be anticipated in hcaps. Same owners as Fast or Slow and whilst that horses hand was forced with him not eligible for novice races once chasing, this lad could be kept low key then stepped up at a festival at the back end of the season potentially.

Might be one to get in the book kev, Rob acheson podcast with we're going chasing worth a quick watch for his word on him. Seemed to get a little giddy about him and that he could still retain his early potential.

I meant the race big man
I could check what I backed him for - Ballymore is in the back of my mind

Difficult to say. They've got Killaney King booked for the Lawlors if he wins his maiden.

Last year it was generally Ballymore or Albert Bartlett. See how much pace he shows as he's supposed to be huge.

                            • I seem to recall the Robcour guy mentioning plenty of speed despite size? So could he be their Supreme horse?
