Not in work for another half hour so glancing at live entries like a nerd, Gordy already got Duffle in the opener and ATM in the 2m novice in early.

I had no idea you could look at live entries - that's seriously cool... albeit not if ATM stays in that novice chase

New initiative from BHA this year. Assume as those with logins were sharing the information anyway, they thought might as well put it in public domain.

I'd say NHC definitely not the plan at this stage based on that Dec. Must be a handicap they have their eye on.

100%. The question now is what handicap? I'm going for the Plate

After last season I'm definitely giving the Handicaps a miss this year and waiting until the day itself. More points for all the other races !

Not a bad tactic, I'd imagine, but I'll be getting stuck in once NRNB is available.

                      Nothing wrong with that plan

The thing I don't understand is that Plate is on the other course so even that doesn't make sense to me really.

He could easily be declared in 3m tomorrow and be a NR on Friday, but if Ultima was aim (which I don't think it was given Gordy's record in it), why not get CD experience rather than over 2m? Grand Annual is the only other handicap chase on the course I think but surely he's not going for that...

My guess about in being the Plate was tongue in cheek, not a clue what the plans are for him, it is only October after all

Can he be declared Friday and Saturday?? Suppose he can. Getting confused with Festival rules. NHC still on then......hold those cash outs !
