Henderson often runs some of his good ones post Cheltenham or in the lead up to the festival. I assumed this would be the case for this fella as he wasn’t one that should be wasting time in bumpers.
Not kept up with the bumpers over the last couple of weeks but had him in the tracker.
Surprised to see him out so late. Thought Welcom to Cartries would have been out for Nicholls by now but presumably they are happy enough not to send him to a bumper this season.
I would imagine that the majority of P2P horses Nicholls buys that turn 5 for the spring will now go down the Hermes/Fay route. You'll then get the spring P2P recruits like Histrionic being kept for Bumpers. He essentially wants all novice hurdlers to be 5 going 6.
Yeah a few were pulled. Seems like Hendo is getting out a bunch of his PTP recruits with entries coming in for a bunch of big money purchases in the coming days.

Didn't realize how many on my tracker are with Henderson. Should have some decent ammo in the novice hurdles next season across the different distances.

Yeah he’s got plenty. Also a fair few stores from last year that didn’t see the track. He had a lot by Mahler if memory serves me correct.
Ideal Des Bordes declared again on Saturday at Warwick.
Croke Park finally declared tomorrow at Kilbeggan.
Hendo has him and the other one that came 1-2 in the same P2P , weirdly debuting on the same day in last race Bumpers at Haydock and Warwick on Saturday.
That was nice from You Oughta Know last night. Smashed Croke Park who smashed everything else. I thought the cruising speed was impressive and would be interested in him for the Supreme. Bred to stay though.

Croke Park couldn’t land a glove on him. Probably not the best track for either horse but impressive from the winner. Not sure where he’d stand in Willies pecking order as it’s a strange time and track to debut.
